No: Tinnitus may accompany hearing loss but it will not make you deaf. Although the symptom of tinnitus is very annoying, there are some treatments (masking and electromagnetic stimulation), and you should seek counsel from an ENT doctor. For example, some cases of hearing loss associated with tinnitus are correctable. One example is otosclerosis, rarer today than 30 years ago, but still occurs.
