DHEA: Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland & brain. It is involved with production of androgens and estrogens. Here is a good Mayo Clinic Article on the matter: http://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/dhea/background/hrb-20059173

DHEA: DHEA is produced in the adrenal glands and makes appropriate male and female hormones. These hormones peak with age - about 25-30 and slowly decline over many years. If you notice a decline in your well being have your doctor check you DHEA level.
