Research: Yes but still investigational. There have been some success in some cases in germany, however, there is an ongoing study in california, they had some success in rats and now have fda approval to conduct this kind of research where cord blood stem cells are being used in attempt to revive spinal cord, i believe that around five centers around the country are participating in this study.
