Dentistry 53 years experience
Toothache: If these meds are not helping, you apparantly have an advanced infection. Antibiotics will probably help short-term, but you need to see a dentist asap to have the tooth treated.
Taking pain meds without having the tooth treated will only allow the infection to worsten, making it harder to alleviate the pain.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
