It depends: How old are you, how severe is the scoliosis and do you have an abnormal gait that could potentially and over time put undue strain on the corresponding hip ? Have you had the hip pain evaluated ?Thus it is difficult to provide you with a meaningful answer without knowing answers to the above questions. Be well.
