Maybe: The medical board frowns on a doctor treating his own family. It will accept some of this activity as long as the physician is maintaining a proper record of any treatment in a permanent chart. This would require basic history, vital signs, assessments and a reason for the treatment. Many find it better to let another doc keep track of these.
