Common: Headaches after a blow to the head are very, very common. And worst in the first week or so. A blow to the head, w/ or w/o concussion can also worsen existing headache, can cause neck muscle tension and spasm that feeds headache or could be its own type: post-traumatic headache. There is treatment - actually a great deal of treatment modalities available. Please see your dr and maybe a TBI doc
