Start working with: A therapist. If the diagnosis are accurate it is difficult but slowly you can work on the issues with your therapist. If you are aware that you have some problems, start with the ones you recognize. A diagnosis is meant to help plan treatment.

Sociopath: The correct term for sociopath is antisocial personality disorder. I suppose one could be diagnosed as having ASPD with borderline features. That being said, due to the seriousness of these diagnoses, get yourself a second opinion.
