What's your job?: I cousel at least one week off work, as there will be swelling of the tissues and you will be uncomforatble sitting for long periods. I also counsel 2-3 weeks of lifting no more thsn 5 lb, as doing so increases pressure in the operated area and could theoretically increase the chance of postop bleeding.
