Many: Bipolar disorder requires mood stabilizing medications such as lithium, depakote, tegretol, lamictal, etc. Sometimes antipsychotics like seroquel, risperdal, and zyprexa are used also, especially when the person is paranoid, delusional, or hallucinating. Latuda (lurasidone) also has an fda indication on its own for bipolar depression. Psychiatrists try to stay away from antidepressants in such cases.
