I need advice on what's this burning sensation in my throat?

GERD: One of the most common causes of burning in the throat is high reflux of gastric acid. In the absence of infection, i think the most common cause of your symptoms in a 48 year old is LPR (laryngo-pharyngeal reflux. This may be due to a number of problems that are best diagnosed and treated by a GI specialist.
