Please explain what do they do in a vp shunt check up?

CT scan: Usually, if a patient is not having any unusual symptoms, the shunt check up will simply involve a physical exam, history taking, and possibly a CAT scan of the brain to assess the ventricles to make sure the ventricles are not enlarged.
