A member asked:

Can anyone tell me what can be causing persistent sharp pains in temple area?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Temple pain: Probable muscle spasm or neuritis. Could be related to TMJ. Try a soft diet for one week, take some Motrin, consider mouth guard. No hard foods or candies, No howling. No gum chewing.
