depend on health: Surgery risk are not completely related to ages it is usually related to the patient general health to operate on 90 years old patient you have to have a really good reason and you run out of all medical solution and it could be life saving i would rather operate on healthy 90 years old than a sick 40 years old the survival rate could be determined by the surgeon based on the patient medical statu.
