Probably stomach: Most likely this is your stomach, which is only separated from your heart by a relatively thin muscle, called the diaphragm. You could also experience belching, which is gas rising into the esophagus, which runs right behind the heart. Rarely people are born with defects in the diaphragm, that allow your digestive system to rise above it. Check with your doctor for this.
