Motor skills? Yes: Many children that are found to be dyslexic often have associated problems with both small and large muscle incoordination, which can affect handwriting and general clumsiness. There isn't evidence that dyslexia causes the motor problems, but it's more like the brain is "wired" a little differently.

Dyslexia is from the: brain's inability to process phonemes, the smallest units of sound in a language & often follows delays in language, the verbalization of ideas. Written expression is much harder than reading words. Delays in fine motor & speech, the motor aspect of language,often co-exist because the areas of the brain that control each are very close to each other. Call 4660038 to request educational testing.
