What is the logic of being closet heterosexual if in fashion world?

Not much: While many in the fashion trade are of alternate sexual persuasion, there is no discrimination in this world either way. Pretending to be gay might open a few doors but just as many will be open if you are openly heterosexual. So this is a personal choice of dubious value.
