After tonsilectomy: Personally, i think the chloraseptic would be irritating and not helpful and the kanka might numb the area but not be of much help either. Your surgeon is more familiar with this procedure, you and what pain medication you are already taking. I think he\she would be able to suggest better solutions for you. Call the office.
