Bipolar: Is a complicated condition that affects every individual in different ways. It can certainly be managed, but it is unlikely to get better or resolve on its own with age.

Depends on course: Untreated bipolar disorder can worsen with time. Although not curative, current treatments aims at reducing the risk of this.
