Voice rest : Voice rest might help. From the picture it appears to be a true cyst and the concern is that if imight damage the vocal cord if it remains or enlarges.

Cyst on cord : Unfortunately no. A good micro surgeon laryngologist type of doctor can take care of this for you with minimal scarring and a return to voice function. I deal with these all the time. I would be happy to refer you to someone in your area to help you. Good luck. Feel better!

Cysts: Cysts, no matter the location, have tendency to change in size and intensity but do not go away on their own. There is a casing around a fluid filled sack. Things like irritation tend to aggravate them. To eliminate completely, unfortunately you have to remove the entire sack. This is a surgical procedure. Voice rest, control of any acid reflux or post nasal drainage, can decrease size.
