APPT with MFM: You are the ideal candidate to see mfm (maternal/fetal medicine) doctor before you get pregnant. They can discuss risk of pregnancy to you and risk of problems to the baby due to both your problems and the risk of prematurity. Needs lots more info than given here, but this specialist can help guide you through everything and help decide if risks are present and how they could affect you and baby.

Why AVM ?: A premi does have fragile blood vessels in the brain but once grown there is no reason to think they still are. If you have a known AVM you should pursue having it clipped before any pregnancy. If you have a family member with a history of AVM, it is reasonable to pursue testing. You may just want to consult a perinatologist who has reviewed your records before trying to get pregnant.
