I had meningitis once. I've had headache for a week that started gradual. Worse a few days ago. Slightly better. Doc checked me out. No fever, no aches. CBC, C-reactive protein, sed rate, blood culture all normal. Should I still worry of meningitis?
Would your WBC be elavated in a CBC if you have bacterial meningitis? If not what would be elavated in the cbc
Will ESR (Sed rate) and CBC show abnormalities with meningitis or other infection causing brain or heart inflammation?
