Can i cut oxycodone 20mg ir tablet in half? i started them yesterday but they make me vomit. my dr is out of the office untill tomorrow.

Caution: While physically possible to cut the pills, it is not recommended as the amount of medication and its absorption has now been altered. With this type of medicine i would avoid and unfortunately hold off until tomorrow. Do not throw the pills out though, i would bring them to your doctor's office tomorrow.
