See doctor: Ask for an urgent appointment with your physician. If having breathing difficulty, you will need to take to ed. Repeat chest x-ray is a good idea to look for any fluid collection (empyema). Ask for a pediatric pulmonary consult if inpatient. Hope this helps. I hope your child gets better.

See your doctor: After 3 days of antibiotics, the child should be getting better. Maybe it's resistant to Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) (maybe time to switch to another antibiotic, like zithromax), maybe there's something else in the chest (may need a repeat chest xray), maybe it's viral (other tests can help determine that), but no matter what, this is not the expected course, and the child should be seen by the physician again.
