A member asked:

My step mom immigrated from ukraine a little over a year ago and is having a baby. should the baby wait before having visitors because of his immunity?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If mother is breastfeeding, the baby will get some of mom's immunity. It is always good to protect the newborns during the first two months of life, no matter where the mother is from!
