Sorry, but no...: The results of a recent large scale study looking at just this question sadly answered no--milk thistle did not live up to its health food store hyped benefits nor justify its high cost. If you have liver damage or are concerned that you may be at risk for same, see your doctor for appropriate assistance ; treatment please so as to find out what's causing you to need daily analgesia.
