Get scanned: Did you have any trauma? If yes, this could be due to nerve injury. If not you should be seen by your doctor and referred to ultrasound, ct or MRI to determine the cause. If the pain is on the right side it could be subacute appendecitis. An old fashioned test is to lay down flat then try to kiss you knee. If you can it is probably not your appendix.

See Provider: Persistent pain in this area needs evaluation. Persistent pain with fever needs to be evaluated now. Hernias can cause pain in this area, as well as kidney stones that can result in blockage and pain in both areas. Depending on the side, the appendix can cause pain in this area. Best to seek out medical evaluation.
