Scientific Rx: Acne is not caused by picking or any other lifestyle or diet issue. If two weeks on topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated has not cleared you, please get with your personal physician who can add prescription-strength medication. The disease cannot be cured but will eventually remit, and until then you must manage it.
