Kidney function : Egfr is estimated glomerular filtration rate a measure of kidney function. It is one way of measuring kidney function from the blood test values for creatinine. The calculation from the formula cannot tell more about function when it is above 60. Normal is 100-110. Egfr becomes useful below 60 when it reflects significant kidney disease. Ask about other signs such as protein or blood in urine.

Congratulations: Egfr stands for "estimated glomerular filtration rate." it is a calculated number that is obtained by mathematical formula and is an estimate of the efficiency of filtration by your kidneys. Typically, we look for anything over 60 to allow patients to undergo studies or procedures that require any substances such as dyes which are potentially harmful to the kidneys. You are good to go..Congrats.
