Positive Pregnancy: Pregnancy implies conception, not ovulation. Positive tests mean the fetus has had time to transit the fallopian tubes and enter into and settle on the wall of the uterus and has had enough time to grow big enough to be spilling chemicals and sharing blood with the mother. That usually takes ten to fourteen days after conception. Thus your scenario means the pregnancy happened earlier than that.
