Yes,,: Likely the optimum time is about one week after your period which is about 10-12 days after ovulation depending on the individual, so if it's done then, then an accurate positive result is highly likely. Good luck.

No: A home pregnancy test that detected HCG in the urine can be positive in about 2-3 weeks. But if you have a blood test drawn, they are positive much earlier -- although usually only after several days. So -- no!

Depends on when you: had sex. To get pregnant, you need to have sex when you are ovulating, which is about 2 weeks after you start your period. If you have sex then and conceived, you would have a pos preg test 14 days later.

Can you get an accurate pregnancy test 12 days after sex?

Once in a while: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Pregnancy test: A home urine pregnancy test won't turn positive until 10-14 days after conception. Using the 1st urine of the morning will concentrate the beta-HCG hormone in the urine. So it should be accurate provided it's been longer than 14 days.
