Irregular Periods: Irregular periods can be just that, or they can represent pregnancy. Some woman can continue to have menstrual periods in their first trimester. Take a pregnancy test. Any pelvic pain with irregular bleeding needs to be evaluated immediately. Light irregular bleeding can also occur after sex. Again pregnancy test would be warranted.
