Yes, but: Talk with the doctor. Cyproterone acetate is not available in the us, but is used nearly everywhere else worldwide. It's safe but you could look at alternatives. Spironolatone is inexpensive and effective, though it takes 6-9 months to work; Finasteride or Flutamide are effective too but should be chosen based on discussion with a doctor. Good luck.

Pcos average time to conception? Specifically for a 24 year old who has always been normal weight. No hirsutism. Glucose level and insulin normal too.
31 year old FO. Hx of thyroid cancer 10 years ago. Since then, experiencing hair loss/texture change, hirsutism, central weight gain, skin rashes, insomnia etc. Has a DHEAS level of 567 ug/dl. Does this level indicate anything of concern?
I oil my hair on a routine and wash it twice a week. No change noticed. Large flakes of dandruff visible in addition to excess hair loss. Advice!
