If you are diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and it is excised completely, are you still considered stage 4?

Yes: There is no such thing as complete excision. First of all some endometriosis is invisible to the naked eye. Some more will develop in the future. And with stage 4 there is always some scarring that returns. So very important to be on medical therapy after surgery.
