A week or more: I presume that this was a needle bioopsy of the thyroid. I should heal in less than a week. Occasionally, a small amount of bleeding occurs where the biopsy needly was inserted. This can prolong the discomfort for an additional week. If the discomfort is decreasing, even if slowly, it's ok. If it is increasing, chek with the doctor who did the biopsy.
