A member asked:

Last month throat infection. dr told me it went away. yesterday i press my tonsil crypt and little liquid puss came out! no smell, no hard stuffs.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be normal: The palatine (throat) tonsils are the first line of immune defense in the upper respiratory tract along with the adenoids (tonsil in the back of the nose). As such, these tissues contains millions of lymphocytes and are lined with crypts to increase the surface of the tonsil. When you press on the tonsil, (which you should not do), it is not unusual for some liquid to be expressed. Do not worry.
