HIV testing: Yes the combination of testing for p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV 1 ; 2 is quite accurate, even if done using techniques other than elisa. The negative results at >3 mos after exposure make it almost certain that you are not infected with this virus, although there have been very rare cases in which antibodies were not detected until 6 to 12 mos later. You are probably fine.
