Probably: It's not a simple answer however. Your symptoms and retained urine volumes should be measured. Certainly vesicare (solifenacin) slows bladder function. Check with your doctor to find what is best for you.

Yes: I recommend you stop especially if it is the new symptom that appeared after you started taking it. If you have it prior to starting it and your doctor was aware of it, you may want to ask your doctor again. Retention is a contraindication but again you will need to ask your doctor because he may be aware of certain things that we may not be aware of.
