Can i cut a 10mg tablet of vesicare (solifenacin) in half if i only want to take 5mg?

No: No - certain tablets are designed for a "timed" release. By cutting the tablet, you are destroying the mechanism and would absorb all of the 5 mg at once: you probsbly wouldn't like the exacerbated side effects, and would be disappointed in its short duration of activity otherwise.
