Wanting a Baby: Please be aware that your baby is still not able to survive easily outside of the womb. The last thing to develop is the lungs abilities to breathe on their own and at your gestational age it is still too soon to deliver your baby. You risk a life long complication of breathing diseases and even death if your child comes too soon. Your OB will let you know when it is safe to strip your membranes.

Too early: You are currently preterm and it is not recommended to try to do anything to remove the mucous plug or induce labor . It is too early. I understand that pregnancy is uncomfortable but dealing with a preterm baby is much much more difficult.
