You need Medical che: A medical check is needed to find the cause. It could be an infection but that would cause some redness or pain. If it is painless you need to to go see your doctor. I hope ity is not a blood clot.Only a medical exam can help you to sort it out unless it settled down over night tonight.

Swollen arm: If this has been a sudden occurrence needs immediate evaluation. There are many reason for this which include injury, infection or blood clots among others. I definitely would make a visit to the ed.
