Check with her doc: The fever could be unrelated to her thyroid condition but a rare side effect of drugs like Methimazole is neutropenia (low white blood cell count) which if severe can cause fevers and infection. So she needs to get in touch with the doctor who prescribed the medication and arrange for a CBC and a recheck of her thyroid tests.
