So whazt is the prob: This is not a problem that is worth worrying about. Stop looking at your nails so minutely, lest you worry too much.

Half and half nails: The only medical problem that relates to your description is the half and half nail seen sometimes with kidney disease. In that situation, the lunula increases in size and the border between the lunula and the pink part is blurred. If your nails fit that description, ask your doctor to do a blood test called a creatinine to be sure that your kidney function is normal.
