Multiple antibiotics: Taking more than one antibiotic at a time does not negate the effectiveness of the other. As a matter of fact some prescription medications combine two antibiotics in the same pill. Just make sure both doctors who prescribed the antibiotics for you are aware that you are taking both. In some cases, one antibiotic can give you the same coverage or effect as taking the two individually.
