IBS: Not as long as you are getting your protein and vitamin B12 from a different source. With ibs you have inflammation in intestines which can impede absorption of all nutrients. Please talk to your doctor regarding methods to aid in decreasing the inflammation associated with ibs and what added nutrients you specifically may need.
