Had 1st abdom ultrasound, should be 8w1d based on lmp, dr said only 6w3d, no heartbeat. could this end in a normal pregnancy? waiting on hcg levels.

Early pregnancy: The HCG levels definite confirm a viable pregnancy. At a very early age the heartbeat is not necessarily going to be obvious on us. Most of the time it is seen around 7 weeks ga. My recommendation is to wait for HCG levels and f/u as directed by your gyn provider.
