Follow your doctor's: Advice. If she doesn't want to give you birth-control pills because she thinks you're pregnant, then she's thinking of your best interest. Just because you came out negative now doesn't mean that you're not pregnant. That would have to be verified with a pregnancy test at least three weeks to four weeks from your last period. So work with her to get your best answers. Then you both will have peace of mind.
