Pred. effects PF.: Prednisolone does not favourably affect lung function and bronchodilator responsiveness in stable copd. While it is true that some patients of COPD may have a substantial improvement with a short course of oral prednisolone, evidence does not favour this as a strategy to identify patients who may have a better outcome with treatment.
