Could be : Could have many causes. Peptic ulcer, alcoholic gastritis, pancreatitis. Would stop alcohol and see what happens.

Danger: Often times when abdominal pain in a drinker moves into their back that means the pancreas is inflamed. Pancreatitis is a deadly complication of drinking too much. Please get to your physician or medical care urgently if you are feeling this pain is worsening.
