Could be too : Much stress on the heel causing plantar fascitiis. I would ice the heel and either tape the foot or wear an orthotic. Stretching when you get the chance would help.

See a podiatrist: Could be plantar fasciitis but you want to check stress fracture too. Clinical examination and symptoms can typically lead the doc to the diagnosis, but an x-ray is the first definitive test to differentiate two conditions. Stress fractures don't always show up within the first 2-3 weeks of injury, so subsequent follow-up x-rays may be ordered. By the way, you can have both simultaneousl.

Likely: A biomechanical condition. May need orthotics or better shoe. Consult a podiatrist and bring your shoes. Possible to have fascitis on lateral side and heel spur too.

I have being doing t: Please see a podiatrist for x-rays to make sure there is no fracture; then get evaluated for either inflammation of the ligament on the bottom of the foot vs. Tendinitis in the foot/ achilles tendinitis; need to be examined for your foot structure , bring in your sneakers ; do not run until you get examined.
